For over 38yrs I have been serving the dogs and families of our local area. After attending Dog Training Classes with my own dog in 1981 I was told by the trainers and many owners that I had a special understanding and a caring connection with dogs that created a special everlasting relationship. Later that year myself and another trainer started Bishopstoke Dog Training at the Memorial Hall.
I only handed the classes over three years ago to Juliet who now runs the classes there and does a grand job I must say. Over the years I trained hundreds of puppies and older dogs whilst also competing to a very high standard with my Border Collies in Competition Obedience where I had the benefit of training with the top trainers in the country at that time. Whilst I was doing this I worked at Riverside Vets in Bishopstoke I started there in 1988 and only left there in 2011 when my walking business basically took over but have stayed in close contact with them and have only recently given up the Puppy Socialisation Sessions there. As I have now hung up my Obedience Competition hat and no longer do the Training Classes I just enjoy walking your dogs and helping you to keep them well trained whilst enjoying their walks. I provide care for your dog as if they were my own and ensure that they receive the highest quality of exercise and safety. My van is custom converted with safe solid cages that are built in and each cage has comfortable clean beds for comfort. I am always happy to provide help with training new puppies and will to private one to one sessions if you need me even with teenagers and older dogs.
Dexter loves to join us on the walks he is especially good with puppies and nervous dogs as he is a confidence giver. He is now nearly 10 years old and has always enjoyed the group walks since his puppyhood. I do have to limit his exercise more now though.
The sweetest dog you could ever come across she loves everyone and will always welcome a cuddle or a fuss and you won't get away without a high five paw.
